The programs

Max Hoops, AAU, and G.R.I.T.

He founded Max Hoops in 2010. It runs camps, clinics, and college-exposure showcases, including The Exclusive, a 50-team NCAA-certified tournament he hosted for four years in the ballroom at the Westin Lake Las Vegas. In 2009 he helped coach and manage the Oregon Stars, a traveling AAU team that played nationally so high school players could face stronger competition. He later helped start the Southern Oregon Showcase, a fall league in Grants Pass. He now serves as Director and Head Coach of G.R.I.T. Oregon, the club program named for Gratitude, Resiliency, Intensity, and Togetherness.
